Claire's Legacy
Claire was an extraordinary, selfless woman. In her final hours, she requested that her story serve as a guide for others. If her experience could help even one person, it would bring her joy.
Claire was 42 when she died from complications of Stage IV bowel cancer, 29 months after her diagnosis. She fought every second, always with a smile on. She had to look into the eyes of her children, Ethan and Isabel, and tell them she was dying.
Claire's diagnosis came through an emergency. "Emergency" often means "too late". Late detection can be addressed with prevention.
We may have lost Claire, but her legacy remains.
